SUNDAY MORNING MINISTRIES

Hospitality

Welcome & Greeting Team
Volunteer with a pool of others to welcome and greet others one week out of the month. Each week you will get an email asking you to respond as to your availability for the coming Sunday. When you are able to serve, show up 30 minutes before worship. The primary purpose is to offer a warm welcome to attendees and guests.

Sunday Morning Coffee:
Volunteer for at least one Sunday a month to prepare and serve coffee before and after the worship service. It’s easy to learn!

Sunday Morning Breakfast
Volunteer for at least one Sunday every 2-3 months to supply breakfast for our children and youth ministry before Promiseland and Bible Fellowship.

Children

(a background check is required.)

Nursery:
Every Sunday morning we need the help of two volunteers to help in our nursery. This allows young parents to have a break so they can participate in worship.

Promiseland and Bible Fellowship:
During the school year we offer three Sunday School classes including Promiseland (for children PreK– 5th grade), Youth Bible Fellowship (6th-12th grade), and Adult Bible Fellowship. These
classes meet at 9am on Sunday mornings. We also have Crosskids during worship (after the offering). You can volunteer on a regular basis or substitute when you are available. We love kids at ACC and want them to love being at church and growing closer to God.
WORSHIP SERVICE Volunteers
Scripture Reading:
If you desire to read scripture on Sunday morning we can schedule you to be available every few months. As part of this group you will get a notice from Community Church Builder the week before asking you to confirm your availability and to help you be prepared before Sunday morning.

Prayer:
Volunteer to lead the congregational prayers during worship or be part of the prayer team for
those who come forward after worship.

Audio, Video, and Streaming:
Every Sunday we need 2 people to run the equipment in our A/V Booth. One person mixes
the audio on our soundboard, another uses software on a computer to share the contents on the screens in our sanctuary as well as our streaming on Facebook Live . If you have technical skills and are comfortable using a computer these roles can be learned.

Worship Team and Other Special Performances:
If you sing, play an instrument, or have other musical skills we would love to find ways to utilize your gifts in our worship services.

ANNUAL EVENTS
Canfield Fair
Our Canfield Fair ministry has been in operation for over 100 years. This ministry is held every labor day at the Canfield Fair. During the fair we run a restaurant at the Colonial Inn, in which we provide homemade food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is a big endeavor in which we need many volunteers in our kitchen at the church, and at the fair.

Trunk or Treat
This event is usually held on the Saturday prior to Halloween. Our desire is for others to experience a safe place where kids can have fun and receive candy. We need volunteers who can provide a trunk as well as others to help with snacks and organization.

Thanksgiving Baskets
This event is always held on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving. During the year we stock food items to give those in need a full thanksgiving dinner and then some! We pack them on Friday and hand them out on Saturday. Volunteers are needed for both days.
