Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fair!

It would be impossible to pick one ministry favorite at Austintown Community Church from an endless list that includes our Vacation Bible School, Thanksgiving Baskets, Mission Trips, Wednesday Night Live, and the Need Room that provides food and clothing for those economically challenged in our community.

But without a doubt, there is one ministry that helps support all of these and more, and that is the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fair. For over 100 years the ACC church family has joined together to provide fair-goers, exhibitors, concessionaires, and the Fair Board with home-cooked meals that warm both body and soul. It's not just the church family that works to make this project a success, but the many volunteers from youth in the community, to friends and neighbors, from all walks of faith, and even diners who have gotten up from the table, put on an apron, and volunteered to support this ministry.

Many friendships have been cultivated as diners return year after year to the Colonial Inn. We look forward to this opportunity to reconnect with them, as well as welcome new diners and future friends. We’ve already been hard at work, planning, cleaning, restoring---preparing for you to join us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s a great opportunity for us to serve fairgoers, to give them the opportunity to know Jesus and do what we can for the community. We look forward to seeing you there!

By volunteering, we provide you;
  • Free admission into the fair
  • Shuttle to the Colonial Inn from the church and back. As of now, it will leave the church at 6am, 11am and 4pm. Then it will return to the church at 11:30am, 4:30pm and 8:30pm.
  • A delicious free meal while you’re there
  • National Honor Society hours for hours served for any High School students
